Okay, usually your wildest dreams do not involve attending educational conferences. But it’s still fun to imagine going to some far off place to re-invigorate your professional excitement.

Virtually Connecting is a volunteer-run organization that enables those who cannot attend conferences to connect with the lucky attendees. Virtual participants usually get the chance to connect with conference speakers in conversation about the buzz at the conference. They are doing it this week in Toronto at the World Conference on Online Learning.

Is there a conference you’d love to attend, but can’t? Tweet a link to it and tell us why it excites you. Is it held in a beautiful place? Does the hotel have great cookies? Maybe it’s even because the subject matter draws you to it. Stay tuned to virtuallyconnecting.org and you may get a chance to dip your toes in the conference anyway.
