What do we know of the materials in our everyday objects?

Look around for an object you use and compose a photo of it with something that is (or represents) the raw materials or ingredients that go into making it.

This need not be scientifically accurate or literal, and leaves room for imagination and metaphor.

Plums and jam

I am enjoying the jam made from the plums that grow in my yard. It ay cost more (in time) than buying a jar of preservative / processed, but cannot put a price of pride in doing it myself.
